Royal Family Kids of St. Peter, Minnesota was established by Larry and Kim Spiess in 2004. As acting director, Larry became known as Big Larry to the campers that came to experience RFK, St. Peter. Larry and Kim retired in 2017 after 14 years of consecutive camps.
In 2018 Jeff Skinner took over the St. Peter chapter of RFK as chief director. He brought Shaina Sieh and Tyler Willaert on as co-directors. The trio attended national training and 2019 was the first reboot of RFK St. Peter for this board of directors. It was an excellent camp with many good memories!
Director Jeff Skinner is a 5th grade teacher at Cleveland Middle School in Cleveland, Minnesota. He served on the RFK board and as the Dean of Men for 14 years and was very passionate about continuing the RFK legacy. Jeff enjoys sports, such as baseball, and family activities. He and his wife, Tami, have three grown children Hannah, her husband Chris, Graham and Evan and the family dog, Reckless.
Shaina Sieh is an assistant teacher for a preschool daycare in Nicollet, Minnesota and is a freelance photographer. A counselor for 10 years, Shaina had RFK in her blood and was eager to help move RFK St. Peter forward. She hopes to structure future years with hope and excellence as co-director and Dean of Women. Shaina enjoys writing, gardening, green vistas, and giant bonfires.
Tyler Willaert is a youth intern and ministry student. He served five years as a counselor with RFK, St. Peter, and is now co-director and Dean of Men. Tyler is involved with Chi Alpha ministries, manages church tech, and enjoys motor maintenance for entertainment.
